changes to video

I have been thinking alot about how im goingt to make the video as it would be quite simple and not particularly useful for students. I have decided to try and make an interactive video where you can choose what information you would like to access as well as let the viewer use it at their own pace. I also think this route is benefitial for using images such as timelines and photographs of consoles etc.

Leaflet

As I am presenting my work as a video I have written out a basic structure of my video so now I know how I will present the assignment, What content will be included and also an idea of where i need to look for the information. The last section of the assignment that requires information about the legal framework for video games and I have also thought about creating a leaflet for the information and include short but informative paragraphs as it is easier to understand than a long winded report or someone explaining it to the listener. Also as the task is to produce learning materials for students i find that short but educational paragraphs are useful and easier to remember which makes a leaflet a suitable format.

Progress...

I have broken down the assignment and I now know what information I will need and some rough ideas of sources to gather it from although information about companies and individuals I think will be mainly sourced from the web. I am also fairly confident that I will present the work as a video, with images, videos and possibly a voice over or just short but informative sub titles although this is not 100%. I think I will have to look in libraries for books about development/ history of video games.

Day of recieving assignment

I have recieved the assignment and have broken up the spec and chosen which topics i am going to wright about. I have a few ideas about how I am going to present my work. At the moment I think i will present it as a video using footage and voice overs although I am not certain.
